Headquarters & Service Battalion

Provide support for the training, readiness, and sustainment
of the Marines assigned to eight major subordinate commands
aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico.

1. To deploy at a moment's notice, the 3,200 Marines and Sailors of Headquarters & Service Battalion need to be combat ready.
       - We will achieve combat readiness through high levels of training, dental and medical readiness.
   
2. As marines, we must remain true to our Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment; to our institution, and to one another.
   
3. Additionally, Family Readiness will be of the utmost importance.
       - Family stability is key to a successful Marine.
       - To achieve high levels of Family Readiness, we will leverage all the talents and programs of our Family Readiness Officer (FRO), Chaplain, and marine Corps Community Service (MCCS).
