Mission Statement:
To provide comprehensive Command Security Program subject matter expert guidance to our customers; both within the National Capitol Region and throughout Inter-agency cooperation as is required from time to time. Including but not limited to MCBQ Command Staff and Commands and Agencies throughout the Marine Corps Installations National Capitol Region area of operations. The MCINCR/MCBQ Command Security Branch will always employ a service-orientated approach in dealing with all manner of customers. The following functional areas comprise our focus: personnel security program; information security program; industrial security program; foreign disclosure program, insider threat program and physical security program. We are a full service Command Security Branch providing security briefings including but not limited to orientation briefings, security refresher briefings, marking of classified military information briefings, required bi-annual derivative classification briefings and foreign disclosure briefings. Promoting security readiness through application of training and education throughout our area of responsibility.
