The MCCS Area Coordinator acts as a MCCS liaison to the area commander and staff in all matters relating to the Marine Corps Community Service. The area coordinator is assigned by the director of MCCS.
The MCCS Area Coordinator periodically checks with the H&S Bn Commander, Executive Officer, and Sergeant Major to insure their intent is met for all the battalion’s quality of life programs and to discuss any new program desires they may have.
