The Alabama River Lakes Project is made up of three lakes that start near Wetumpka and flow into the Tombigbee River near Jackson. Today, the beautiful waters of the lakes and the surrounding forests provide excellent recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, camping, hunting, and enjoying the parks.
