White House (CEQ) Fact Sheet

The Federal Flood Risk Management Standard has been developed to create a national minimum flood risk management standard to ensure that Federal Actions that are located in or near the floodplain when there are no other practical alternatives last as long as intended by considering risks, changes in climate, and vulnerability.  The Fact Sheet provides general information for the public about the Standard.
