Mexico Cross-Border Trucking Pilot Program - Demonstration Project Data

Project Background

Between September 2007 and March 2009, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) established a Demonstration Project to evaluate the ability of Mexico-based motor carriers to operate safely in the United States beyond the municipalities and commercial zones along the United States-Mexico border. The Mexico-domiciled motor carriers that participated in the Demonstration Project were required to complete a Pre-Authorization Safety Audit (PASA) before being granted operating authority. In addition, they were required to successfully complete a compliance review, if they participated in the Demonstration Project for 18 months.

This page lists those carriers that participated in the Demonstration Project and submitted an application for participation in the U.S.-Mexico Cross-border Trucking Pilot Program. This is not a complete list of all previous participants of the Demonstration Project.
