Lakers forward Julius Randle on president-elect Donald Trump: "We're just at a time where we need a great leader and hopefully he's that. Hopefully he brings our country in the right direction, does right by everybody and makes it a better place for everybody."

Utah PG George Hill (sprained right thumb) is out tonight against the Hornets, the second straight game he has missed. The 5-3 Jazz have played their preferred starting lineup only once due to injuries to Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Hill.

Kenny Atkinson says Brook Lopez will play against Knicks. Sean Kilpatrick will start at point guard. Randy Foye is available but will be restricted. Yogi Ferrell will also be available as well.

Jeff Hornacek reiterates that no one in the organization is panicking amid the Knicks' 2-4 start.

Despite returning to practice this week, Tony Parker is out for Wednesday's matchup against the Rockets due to knee soreness suffered in the season opener at Golden State.

John Wall just fined $25,000 by NBA for "inappropriate interaction with a game official and failing to leave the court in a timely manner."

Calvin Watkins ESPN Staff Writer

The Wizards John Wall was fined $25,000 on Wednesday for bumping into an official during the Rockets game.

Andrew Bogut on returning to Oracle Arena: "It obviously will be a bit emotional. I played with those guys for four years and won a championship and came in second the season after. I think the best part is we did it by building it up. When I first got there, the record was bad and the franchise was in shambles. We kind of went through all that tough [stuff] to get to the better end. That's probably why I was so proud of what we accomplished."

With rookie Isaiah Whitehead out due to a concussion and Jeremy Lin sidelined for next few weeks, the Nets signed Yogi Ferrell from their D-League Long Island Nets. The former Indiana standout, who was with the Nets in preseason, is the franchise's first call-up from Long Island and the type of young talent Kenny Atkinson will have to develop to improve team without first-round picks. Might as well see what Ferrell can do. The team waived injured Greivis Vasquez earlier.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Jeff Hornacek on what needs to change on defense for NYK: "We wanted to be more aggressive on our own man. We were probably switching too much. That's not like we won't ever switch, but we were relying on switchng a lot. We want our guys to guard the guy that has the ball and not expect help."

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

The Nets have waived point guard Greivis Vasquez, who played in just three games this season due to ankle injury. "Greivis did everything we asked of him and more to try to get back on the court at full strength," GM Sean Marks said in a team statement. "The passion, grit and perseverance he has shown since he joined the team have been remarkable." Vasquez signed a one-year, $4.3 million deal with the Nets this past summer.

Michael C. Wright ESPN Staff Writer

Danny Green (left quad strain) will play in Wednesday's game at the AT&T Center. Green missed the first seven games of the 2016-17 season after suffering the injury during the preseason.

ESPN Stats and Information

Since Phil Jackson took over as the Knicks' president on March 19, 2014, New York has played 185 games and lost 124, the fourth-lowest winning percentage in the NBA. While with the Bulls, Jackson didn't suffer his 124th loss as head coach until his 428th regular-season game. That came in his sixth season and after his teams had won three championships.
