Secretary Johnson Inspects Convention Security Operations in Cleveland

Today, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson traveled to Cleveland with U.S. Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator Peter Neffenger, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Executive Associate Director Peter Edge to review the operational security and contingency planning in preparation for next week’s 2016 Republican National Convention.

Three DHS Officials Named Finalists for 2016 Service to America Medals

Three employees at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have been named finalists for the 2016 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals, known as the Sammies: Tate Jarrow, U.S. Secret Service; Mariela Melero, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); and Ajay Bhatt, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
