Program Support is often engaged to participate in audits and investigations relating to OCS. Inspector Generals (IGs) conduct and monitor program evaluaitions as indepenedent and objcctive offices within and outside of DoD. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) an independent, nonpartisan agency, also conducts audits at the request of Congress.
