Overview
This section of the TIFIA website contains technical resource materials on the TIFIA program. The TIFIA Program Guide, application materials as well as the TIFIA Oversight and Credit Monitoring Guidelines can be found under Guidance & Applications.
The Background Slide Presentation, titled TIFIA Credit Program Overview, is a 9-slide presentation summarizing the basic purpose, processes, and historical activity of the program. The Program Fact Sheet (PDF) is a two-page summary of the TIFIA credit program designed as a brief informational handout. In a similar manner to the slide presentation, it summarizes the program's purpose, products, and activities.
The Report to Congress is a Congressional requirement to summarize the financial performance of the projects assisted by TIFIA and to discuss alternatives for achieving the program objectives in the future. The current report for 2014 was issued in August 2014. Past reports were issued in 2002, 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2012. The next report is due in June 2016.
A section devoted to Archived Resources includes historical information and other publications pertaining to TIFIA. It includes older background information publications, conference proceedings and public meeting minutes, Federal Register notices, and press releases. Background information also includes all issues of the TIFIA Times, a publication put out numerous times between 2001 and 2006 to provide brief announcements on TIFIA deals and program developments.
