New Joins (Marines)
Where to go FIRST:
Officers and Enlisted: Officers and Enlisted personnel should check in at the Installation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC) at building 13107 before continuing to the battalion.
Field Grade Officers:
Field Grade Officers (only) should check into the AC/S of G-1 in building 140121 during working hours (0730-1630) and IPAC after working hours.
WELCOME TO THE 1st MLG:
Once you get checked in with the Installation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC), you will find out the battalion, company and section you will be working for, and receive a printed copy of the check in sheet.
New Joins (Sailors)
WHERE TO GO FIRST:
Officers and Enlisted: Officers and Enlisted personnel with orders to 1st Marine Logistics Group, UIC 67446, need to check in at the Group Navy Personnel Office (GNPO) located in building 12056T.
If you have orders to a different unit, please check in with that unit prior to checking in with the GNPO. Your unit sponsor will assist you.
WELCOME TO THE 1st MLG:
Once you get checked in with your unit and the GNPO you have 3 business days to complete the check in sheet from the receipts clerk. You must complete the check in sheet and any other items to ensure proper pay and entitlements.

Mon. – Fri. 0800-1630
Thurs. 0800-1300.
True emergencies will be addressed by the duty. Duty is posted M-F until 1630.

From the Main gate, take Vandegrift Blvd , exit right onto Rattle Snake Canyon
Rd., Make a left on A St., GNPO is on your left
From the San Luis Rey gate: take Vandegrift Blvd. make a left onto Rattle Snake Canyon
Rd., turn right onto A St., GNPO is on your left
