Captain Anna M. Baker
Captain Baker was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from Methodist University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management and then received a Master’s of Science in Sports Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She completed Officer Candidates School, received her commission as a Second Lieutenant, and reported to The Basic School in December 2011. Upon graduating from TBS, she was designated as a 0402 Logistics Officer and reported to Logistics Officers Course, Camp Johnson, Jacksonville, NC. Following graduation in October 2012, she reported to Marine Wing Support Squadron 372 in Camp Pendleton, California to serve as the Maintenance Management Officer. During Operation ENDURING FREEDOM 14.1-14.2, Captain Baker served as the Logistics Officer and Future Plans Officer for her Squadron from September 2013 through April 2014. Upon returning from deployment she served as the Motor Transport Operations Platoon Commander and Motor Transport Company Executive Officer from April 2014 through May 2015.
Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star in lieu of second award.
