Seismic Rehabilitation Cost Estimator (SRCE)

Cover photo for the document: Seismic Rehabilitation Cost Estimator (SRCE)

This online program for calculating cost estimates for the seismic rehabilitation of buildings has been archived and is no longer available on FEMA.gov. The archived program files are available for download and are provided as samples of how to setup and run the application. However, users will need to build the web application structure. SRCE is based upon a statistical evaluation of the cost data from approximately 2,000 seismic rehabilitation projects that were included in FEMA 156, Second Edition Typical Costs for Seismic Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings, September 1995. No new building rehabilitation data have been added to that database in the development of SRCE. The statistical evaluation is based on a data mining approach known as Classification and Regression Tree (CART) analysis.
