FEMA Region X Administrator Tours New Cold Climate Construction

Galena, AK, June 12, 2014--  FEMA Region 10 Administrator Ken Murphy (L) greets Samaritans Purse Volunteer Keith Smith as they inspect the building of Cold Climate Homes for the disaster survivors whom are eigible for FEMA assistance. Each one of the homes will take approximately 8 weeks to complete and are being built concurrently by volunteers from Samaritans Purse and United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, while FEMA pays for materials and shipping.
