NIMS Comments Received by FEMA
Between April 8, 2016 and May 9, 2016 FEMA held a National Engagement Period for the refresh of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) doctrine. This public comment period, now closed, provided an opportunity for interested parties to provide feedback on the draft of the refreshed NIMS so that it can better reflect the collective expertise and experience of the whole community. FEMA received a total of 2862 comments, which can be found below. All information which could be used to distinguish a commenter’s identity has been removed, but otherwise the comments have not been changed from the commenters’ original submissions.
