The AIRNow mobile application provides you real-time air quality information that you can use to protect your health when planning your day.
You can get location-specific reports on current air quality and air quality forecasts for both ozone and fine particle pollution (PM2.5). Air quality maps from the AIRNow website provide visual depictions of current and forecast air quality nationwide, and a page on air quality-related health effects explains what actions people can take to protect their health at different AQI levels, such as “code orange.”
To install the Indoor airPLUS Builder App on an Android device outside of Android’s App Market, you will need to enable Unknown Sources. On your Android phone, go to Settings -> Application Settings and check the Unknown Sources checkbox. After the Indoor airPLUS Builder App is downloaded and installed, you may uncheck the Unknown Sources checkbox.

Please see the following fact sheet to learn who is at risk from exposure to particle pollution, what health effects you may experience as a result of particle exposure, and simple measures you can take to reduce your risk: http://www3.epa.gov/pm/pdfs/pm-color.pdf
