Training for First Responders
The Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium, led by The Center for Rural Development, is a DHS funded program providing training and resources to rural first responders. RDPC courses are offered both in-person and online, and are provided at no cost. More information about the RDPC can be found in the overview.
There is no other way agencies our size would be able to receive that kind of training without the RDPC bringing it to us. With two nuclear power plants, we have high-risk infrastructure to watch out for.
