West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management 24/7 Watch Center

The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management's  Watch Center is a 24/7 operations center and receives calls from around the state, maintaining  situational awareness of all events Statewide and around the Nation as part of its mission.  In addition, it monitors weather and other events around the country that may impact our state.
 
The Watch Center includes the around-the-clock operation of the Mine and Industrial Accident Rapid Response Call Center according to West Virginia Code, including the support of mine rescue operations. In addition, the center has consolidated the receiving of calls for the WV DEP, The WV State Fire Marshal’s Arson Hot Line and Tip Line, The Safe Schools Line, The Insurance Fraud Hotline as well as the Department of Agriculture after hours reporting.  The Center also takes calls for the WV State Aviation Division after hours.
