Mission Statement

To train, educate, and develop Assault Amphibian unit leaders, crewmen, and maintainers for service with the operating forces.  Serve as the proponent for continuous, progressive, career-long training for the Assault Amphibian Community.

Students get the hands on training necessary to prepare them for full time work in the Fleet Marine Forces.

Tracks are staged on the beach before students commence basic water training. Under the guidance and supervision of the instructors, the students will drive the AAVs into the water at Camp Pendleton.

Students get classroom instruction from active duty operators and repairmen that have been certified as instructors.
