Heavy Rainfall and Flash Flooding Possible over Portions of the Southern High Plains and Southwest

A slow-moving low pressure system is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to eastern Arizona, much of New Mexico, and portions of western Texas on Friday. The rain chances will spread eastward into central Texas this weekend. Some of the storms may produce heavy rainfall that could lead to flooding of low-lying and poor-drainage areas. Read More >
