Inicident Workforce Management Division (IWMD)
The Incident Workforce Management Division is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting a professional Incident Workforce of personnel ready for the national, all-hazard response needs of FEMA program managers and regional leadership. IWMD supports the recruitment and development of personnel within each program area, to establish the agency's workforce generation pool of employees which includes:
- Permanent Full-Time Employees
- Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employees (CORE)
- Reservists
- FEMA Corps
- DHS Surge Capacity Force

Training Available for the Deployment Tracking System
The Deployment Tracking System (DTS) orientation sessions have been extended through Spetember 2015. To Request access please e mail FEMA-DTS@fema.dhs.gov.
The DTS replaced the AUtomated Deployment System in December 2014 and is used to deploy all FEMA personnel. All FEMA employees must participate in the orientation. The DTS serves as the Agency’s primary means of deploying all employees to disaster and training events.
Non-deployed Reservists will be compensated for two hours upon completion of the orientation. Completion is determined by successfully accepting an exercise deployment request during the orientation.
