The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) is an organization of fifteen public safety organizations, state and local government representatives, as well as federal representatives, and of FirstNet, the First Responder Network Authority, which is the first high-speed public safety broadband network that promises to help police, fire and EMS professionals be able to do their jobs better.
