On July 20, 2016 First Lieutenant Jean-Luc Currie and Second Lieutenant John Bayko, Marines attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 6-16 (CEO 6-16); learn the basics and get hands-on experience in constructing a four strand cattle fence as Mr. Eric Schnitzler, an instructor with Combat Engineer Instruction Company; ensures the students are performing the techniques properly.

On July 20, 2016 Second Lieutenant Timothy Duggins, a Marine attached to Combat Engineer Officer course 6-16 (CEO 6-16); uses a log as a post and reinforces it with wire to construct a log hurdle obstacle. Log hurdle obstacles are used to slow down vehicle mobility.
