While being an employer of choice for candidates whose experience and education help to support the technical mission of NAVAIR (technicians, engineers and analysts) we also offer a wide range of entry level, developmental and internship positions for veterans who may be lacking a college education or management experience.

Active Duty Intern Program (ADIP)

NAVAIR’s Active Duty Intern Program serves as another valuable opportunity for veterans interested in pursuing NAVAIR careers. The ADIP Provides active duty service members with the rare chance to join NAVAIR on an intern basis while still on active duty. Interns are then afforded training, networking and exposure to the federal workforce environment while building their job experience. This program is conducted at all NAVAIR sites and interns have the possibility of securing full-time employment with NAVAIR after their active duty separation.
