Project Description:   American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will conduct outreach and marketing material activities such as flyers, mailings, emails, Web site announcements, etc. to prospective contestants using the student chapters of ASCE in every university in the United States. American Society of Civil Engineers will also conduct international outreach and marketing activities to get international contestants involved in the contest. American Society of Civil Engineers will send followup announcements regarding the contest at least four times a year.
Goals:   The objective of this contract is for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to provide support services to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) by coordinating and administering the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) International Data Analysis Contest.

Test Methodology:   American Society of Civil Engineers will notify both the United States and international participants that the technical papers must use the Long-Term Pavement Performance database as the only data source for their analysis.
Expected Benefits:   The expected benefit is to get more students using the Long-Term Pavement Performance data in their course work.
