Driver Education Vehicle Loans
If a dealer loans a vehicle to a public or private school for use in a driver education program, the department will waive the $20.00 dealer plate fee. The use of a plate for this purpose is not limited. However, when the vehicle ceases to operate as a driver-training vehicle, the dealer plate must be returned to the department.
