MISSION

The TH-67 Creek is used to train initial entry rotary wing students in primary, instrument and basic warfighting skills.

DESCRIPTION

The TH-67 Creek is a single engine, utility helicopter designed to take off and land on reasonably level terrain. The standard configuration provides for one pilot, one instructor/copilot, and one observer. The fuselage consists of the forward section, intermediate section, and the tailboom section. The airframe forward section consists primarily of aluminum honeycomb structure to provide maximum strength to weight ratio and rigidity. The aft portion of the intermediate section contains approximately 40 cubic feet for the carriage of passengers or cargo. The aft doors may be removed. An additional 16 cubic foot baggage compartment is located aft of the passenger compartment where 250 pounds of baggage or cargo (176.5 pounds maximum with air conditioner installed if placarded) can be carried.

The TH-67 is manufactured in three aircraft equipment configurations, VFR, IFR, and A.
