I read a review that was a total difference in my experience. Even though it was clearly posted on the door and front area of the restaurant that because of the flood and the area being affected they were short of service staff. And it stated that at times there could be a longer than usual wait. However we were a party of 2. We were seated immediately, the waiter was very polite, he was great with suggestions from the menu. We didn't have to ask for refills or anything. He checked on us, our food came out in a timely manner. And most of all. The food was great. I would definitely return.

Always the place to be on a Saturday night, the live music is always good. Great staff and familiar faces. Have gone there for years and never disappointed. Karaoke on Wednesday nights is always a great crowd and lots of fun

Panini was so amazing (fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil pesto, and prosciutto) as was the dark chocolate gelato. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and were eager to accommodate any special orders. I'm so glad I discovered La Divina!!!

I am a Magpie regular and wanted to give a different perspective than a couple of folks who left reviews complaining about wait time and service. First of all, Magpie is the only cafe in the greater Baton Rouge area that serves coffee at a standard more similar to what you would find in Seattle or Portland (if not quite consistently at that level). Being from Seattle, I was grateful to have discovered Magpie for this reason alone. In fact grateful is an understatement. For me I have three choices: make my own coffee, drive to Spitfire in NOLA or go to Magpie. Also, Magpie has delicious food and pastries. There is a lot of emphasis on quality and source, which I appreciate. The food is simply great. That is why the place is jam packed at peak times, and it can take a long time, too long if you are in a hurry. I also have found the staff to be friendly and pleasant. I think perhaps some of them are more shy than others and they aren't in your face with obnoxious customer service, thank God. I am a Magpie loyalist if there is such a thing, grateful for a cafe that places an emphasis on a different way of drinking coffee than is common here in Louisiana and also a different way of baking and using ingredients. The end product is better than other cafes in town, which is again why it is so busy. That said, it isn't for everyone. And IHOP is just up the street.

Throughout the night, other musicians and singers are allowed to share the stage. Awesome, Awesome experience for any music lover. Its free!!!! It's a great place to go and party. Great Management and Staff. Bouncers are always on point with issues. Only downside is the outside sidewalk. It's full of people picking fights and complaining about racism all because they can't read a 3x4ft sign on the wall that clearly states City Bar's dress code. If you can't dress appropriately, then you should stay home. Same people complain about cover. If you can't afford a $5 cover, again, you should stay home.

There needs to be a way to give this place more than 5 stars. My brother was getting married this weekend, but with the horrible rai and flooding their venue cancelled on them. We were stuck in the casino hotel with two broken hearted people just wanting to have a wedding. The staff at L'auberge took matters into their own hands and pulled out all the stops. They found us a room, flowers, music, and set up for us and everything. They worked so hard just to make sure the wedding would still happen, and it was truly an amazing thing to see. Thank you so much. Y'all really made some dreams come true last night.

I love the Texas club ! It's the first place I ever went out for my 18th birthday, and have always enjoyed going back. I've had a blast every time I've gone. Good drinks, great music, fun atmosphere, and I've seen a few good looking cowboys that were easy on the eyes a time or two! The staff is friendly and courteous, but i think my favorite thing about the Texas Club would have to be the Girl's bathroom lady attendant. Every time iv ever been there, she's always sitting on the couch Makin sure the girls are leaving the restroom the way it was when they walked it, and I'm sure I've a few heart to hearts with her myself ! She's definitely an added plus. The Texas Club has always put on a good show and brought good crowds. I'm happy this place is still around !!

Me my husband our 4 year old and our 2 God son's who are 5 and 6 years old loved it. We bring our little One a lot but my God son's don't get to go very often. We all had a blast and I was super excited to have a cooler weather day and see all the animals out instead of a hot day and hardly see any animals..The boys loved the petting zoo & the playground..We also got upfront to catch the train at its last run for the day..The boys wanted directly up front behind the train conductor and that's what they got. This was this first time we actually paid full price normally we only come to the zoo on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 4pm and pay the $1.50 a person to get it but it's not enough time to enjoy the zoo ride the train petting zoo and play without being kinda rushed..

The kids at my daughter's school had a blast but the lady giving them the house tour and kitchen tour was not good with the kids. She was very abrupt with them and rude. They are 2nd grade students and she acted like they were adults, very rude to them.

This was where I started working out at. I started with Cardio and graduated to the gym. Met wonderful people there. Staff is excellent.

World Class collections of contemporary and established Art. The museum offers many events to engage and entertain the community it is nestled in. Friendly and open, not a stuffy elitist what are you doing here kind of place. I encourage you to drop by and be wowed.

I just love these projects! Wishing for the chance to paint a mural on my own dilapidated building in Vineland, N.J. to inspire the community, hopefully someday I will be able to fulfill that dream! thank you for this page of inspiration!

I went to the Cortana Mall and did 3 things. First. I went to Piccadilly for 20 minutes, I ate 1 plate of green beans, 2 plates of macaroni and cheese, 1 plate of french fries 1 cup of chocolate pudding and 1 bottle of water which it was total of 16 dollars and 44 cents. Next, I went to buy some Christmas shopping for five minutes, I buy a Mickey Mouse nutcracker by close to the Christmas tree and it was a total of three dollars and 68 cents. Last, I went to the play land and I get to play for wobbly 50 minutes.

Favorite hardware store in BR. Period! Actually I shouldn't call it a "Hardware" Store... it's kinda like an "Everything" Store. People are always available to help, everyone is so friendly and it's just relaxing to go in and look at everything they have. It's really a plus that if needed, I could just walk there from my house. Can't beat that!

I went to see Ghost, it was my first concert ever! this place is great. it's small that you feel like you are on stage with the artist but not feel crowded. the staff were awesome. the Varsity did not disappoint. I will be back prices on tickets and drinks were way cheaper than I was expecting. keep up the great work Varsity.
