GRaDER Program Guidance for Submitting Manufacturers' Applications
The GRaDERSM Program Guidance for Submitting Applications outlines the general conditions for DNDO consideration of an instrument for evaluation, and provides a Manufacturer’s Checklist for assembling the manufacturer’s application packet.
The information contained in the manufacturer’s application packet will be appropriately handled as business sensitive proprietary information. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO), with the support of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), conducts the instrument evaluation based on test results, manufacturer supplied certificates and self-declarations of compliance, and other sources of information.
The manufacturer must submit the completed and signed checklist as a part of the application for a DNDO GRaDERSM Program instrument evaluation. The application for a DNDO GRaDERSM Program instrument evaluation may be returned without action if this requirement is not satisfied.
