JOERAD evaluates the interoperability of RF emitter suites with ordnance items on ships or shore stations. The complex environment and accelerated tempo of Joint Tactical Operations demand full situational awareness and capabilities to evaluate risks associated with RF sensitive ordnance. These ordnance items, if not analyzed, can pose a great threat to personnel and equipment or result in excessive emission controls on essential shipboard equipment. Of all the technology available to the warfighters, JOERAD is a key tool for success in joint operations. JOERAD is the technology that today's fighting forces require with design features that will continue to evolve to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
JOERAD is a software tool designed to expedite risk assessments of ordnance in joint exercises and operations. JOERAD accesses massive databases for technical specifications for ordnance and emitters and displays the results in a comprehensive format for planning and warfare operations creating a safety or operational reliability problem.
