JOERAD Training
JOERAD training can be provided at key user locations on request. A full day class provides a thorough working knowledge of JOERAD. The training topics include:
- An introduction to JOERAD and general JOERAD operations.
- A description of installation and logon procedures.
- An overview of basic operations.
- Instructions for creating, updating, copying, deleting, viewing, or printing a selected ordnance record.
- Instructions for searching, viewing, and printing a selected equipment record.
- Instructions for searching, viewing or creating new records for a unit/platform record.
- Instructions for performing an impact assessment and viewing the resulting reports.
- Instructions for exporting and importing ordnance and unit/platform data.
- Examples of ordnance name, nomenclature, description, and/or platform fields.
- The default tables for the HERO unsafe, HERO susceptible, and HERO safe curves used to fill in the MAE (maximum allowable environment) data in the ordnance module.
- Samples of the reports generated in the impact analysis section of JOERAD.
- Instructions for reporting problems or changes to JOERAD software and documentation.
Attendees are provided electronic and hard copies of all JOERAD training materials (to include all new releases/upgrades). The following are likely candidates for JOERAD Training:
