Student Tracking Program

The MIT Training and Development team meet with the students 3 times per work term to see how the student is progressing and identify other areas of interest. These meetings occur at the beginning primarily to gather previous experience, set goals for current work term, and discuss future plans for school and permanent placement. Another meeting occurs midway through the work term. This meeting is set up to add & document experience, get feedback from student & supervisor, and identify any areas that need to be addressed. There is one more meeting at the end of the work term to document all experiences from the term, get written feedback from student & supervisor, and discuss plans for next work term/employment.
Some of the benefits working with MIT as a summer student include;

    • Paid overtime, sick time, and time off;
    • Accumulated vacation time paid out at the end of term;
