SHARES HF Interoperability Working Group
The SHAred RESources (SHARES) High Frequency (HF) Radio Program Interoperability Working Group (IWG) provides the national security/emergency preparedness (NS/EP) community a forum for addressing issues affecting HF radio interoperability. The SHARES HF IWG, made up of 143 members representing 110 organizations, conducts HF technical reviews, provides regulatory guidance and direction for administration of the SHARES network, and promotes awareness of new HF radio technologies. The SHARES HF IWG meets on a monthly basis, typically on the last Friday of each month. The SHARES HF IWG also fosters interoperability of NS/EP HF radio systems through examination of regulatory, procedural, and technical issues.
