The Journey to the DoD Warrior Games

Some of America's bravest sons and daughters compete for places on Team Army in the 2017 Department of Defense Warrior Games. These severely wounded, injured or ill Soldiers and Army Veterans are using adaptive sports to fight for recovery.

One hundred Soldier/athletes. Eight sports.
And inter-service bragging rights are on the line. The
first step is regional qualification October 31- November 4 at Fort Benning, Ga. The best go on to compete in the Army Trials, with the ultimate prize of a slot on the Army Warrior Games team that will compete in Chicago this June.
