RELO Trains Teachers and Provides Consultation on Local Education Policy

Mr. Santos speaks at Naha Kokusai Senior High School

November 29-30- RELO Thomas Santos visited from Seoul and gave seminars to teachers at Meio University and Naha International High School on Task-Based Learning. 

In addition to reaching 30 teachers from a variety of institutions, Mr. Santos also met with two officials from the Okinawa Prefectural Board of Education to advise on local English language initiatives. 

With plans to send 120 high school students to the United States each year for both short and long-term programs, Okinawa recognizes a need for more English teacher training and looks forward to Mr. Santos’ next trip to the prefecture.
