NOTES: Rank order by total enplaned passengers on large certificated U.S. air carriers (Majors, Nationals, Large Regionals, Medium Regionals, and Commuters), scheduled and nonscheduled operations, at all airports served within the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and other U.S. areas designated by the Federal Aviation Administration. These air carriers operate at least one aircraft with more than 60 seats or a payload capacity of more than 18,000 pounds. Data for small-certificated, commuter and foreign-flag air carriers are not included. Data differ from those in table 1-11 which include enplaned passengers on small-certificated, commuter and foreign-flag carriers.
