When I click "get showtimes" I get this trailer for a movie ... which I don't want to see. I want to see the show times. NO TRAILER!
When I click "get showtimes" I get this trailer for a movie ... which I don't want to see. I want to see the show times. NO TRAILER! I can't get rid of the **** thing! There's no X to close it. Escape does nothing. If I wanted to see the trailer I would have clicked the TRAILERS link ... not the show times link. JUST SHOW ME THE F*ing SHOW TIMES! This isn't rocket science!

Didn't there used to be a means by which to identify what was playing in local theaters?
If this isn't the first thing you see when you come to this site, then it doesn't offer anything that I can't find elsewhere.
9th rankedHi Wayne,
You can click on the “Get Showtimes” just below the Yahoo Movies search bar. It will lead you to a page where you can identify what’s playing in local theaters. Current and future showtimes, though. No past showtimes.
Here’s a link: https://www.yahoo.com/movies/showtimes
Thanks for using Yahoo Movies!

My zipcode, city or your location service don't indicate any theaters close to me. Go back to the old interface please, it worked.
retrograde to the last working revision.

Make it possible to see ALL theaters within a personal range of miles or to choose your own favorites, not chosen by your robot
Allow you to select your own location (which can change depending on where you want to go) and then list ALL theaters within your selected range of miles with all showtimes for those theaters. Also allow selection of movie within range of miles from a location you ask for. Get some humans, not robots, who actually USE the service, to design it (what a concept!)

70th rankedHi Ron,
If you go to the “Showtimes” tab at the top, just below the Yahoo search bar, you should see your local theaters with the playing movies and times. The new layout uses your current location; however, you can change the location by clicking on the “Change location” link (which uses zip codes) and it will show the surrounding theaters. You can also use the date, theater, and movie drop-down menus just below to filter all the specifics.

If your seeing a different location when signed in, you may want to change your default location.

If you cannot find your local showtimes, please comment here (https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/242161-yahoo-movies/suggestions/5940429-whoever-did-the-movies-page-redesign-go-home-yo) with your zip code and missing theaters/movies.
We appreciate the feedback, and thanks for using Yahoo Movies!

I dread having to use your site to find movies!!!!!!
The old site was user friendly & this one is not. It takes too long for the pages to load, the showtimes feature is a pain in the %$#, and 90% of the time, the trailers don't work. Where did the movie rankings go?
Go back to old format!!!!!

The new tile system is no good. Slows down the computer and too hard to find showtimes and upcoming movies.

Bring back the old Yahoo Movies format. The current one is about as bad as an online version of Windows 8. Impossible to navigate.
I am forced to abandon Yahoo Movies as a source for movie showtimes, reviews and trailers if the page continues to have the horrible Windows 8 style tiled content that is without proper navigation. At least give users the option to use the old version instead. Are you all really trying to force users to another website?

Another Friday and another failure for showtimes..
Please don't send a response telling me you are aware of the problem, looking into it, thanking me for my patience etc. I have run out. I have sent 4 emails in as many months. Your showtimes page is useless. I am done now. Fandango works fine.

This 'upgrade' to Yahoo Movies section is a downgrade.
This 'upgrade' to Yahoo Movies section is a downgrade. It is a very difficult site to navigate, no info on the movies showing can be found, and there seems to be no portion of the site dedicated to coming attractions. That, and the format is very irrational and without logical flow.
I'd suggest seperating this format and the old format and having them both be options for viewing.
