Mostly dry and settled over the next few days.
Northern and eastern areas will be dry with plenty of sunshine, after a chilly start. Southern and western parts will start cloudy with patchy hill fog and drizzle, although it will brighten up away from the far west and southwest.
The number of people in Melbourne dying from the rare phenomenon thunderstorm asthma rises to six.
