Program Description
The USPS Change of Address lets you enter an order to have your mail forwarded to a new permanent or temporary address. This is helpful if you have been affected by a disaster and need to have your mail sent to a new address.
General Program Requirements
Anyone can use this feature to have mail forwarded to a new address after a permanent or temporary move.
Application Process
There are two ways you can change your address:
- Visit the Official USPS Change of Address page.
You must:- Confirm your identity with a valid credit or debit card. A small charge will be added to your account.
- Have a valid email address.
- Fill out and submit PS Form 3575, available at any U.S. Post Office.
You may then:- Take or mail the form to any U.S. Post Office.
- Give it to any Postal Mail Carrier.
