U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Change of Address

Managing Agency:

Program Description

The USPS Change of Address lets you enter an order to have your mail forwarded to a new permanent or temporary address. This is helpful if you have been affected by a disaster and need to have your mail sent to a new address.

General Program Requirements

Anyone can use this feature to have mail forwarded to a new address after a permanent or temporary move.

Application Process

There are two ways you can change your address:

  1. Visit the Official USPS Change of Address page.
    You must:
    • Confirm your identity with a valid credit or debit card. A small charge will be added to your account.
    • Have a valid email address.
  2. Fill out and submit PS Form 3575, available at any U.S. Post Office.
    You may then:
    • Take or mail the form to any U.S. Post Office.
    • Give it to any Postal Mail Carrier.
