"I started with PHMSA's Office of Pipeline Safety Engineering group in 2008, after working in natural gas distribution and for a Naval materials test lab. I could not have predicted the variety of things I'd be working with or exposed here: from tracking hurricanes and meeting with foreign delegations for technical discussions, to a day spent at Quantico and another with leadership of New Orleans, on top of the more typical duties.
