2015 Cyber Security Division Transition to Practice (TTP) Technology Demonstration for the Financial Services Sector

Wednesday, August 19, 2015
PACE University
New York City, New York

Hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T)
Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) Cyber Security Division (CSD) Transition to Practice (TTP) Program.

The TTP program focuses on moving mature cybersecurity technologies that were developed in federal laboratories into the private sector for further development into commercially viable products with potential for widespread distribution in the marketplace.

This technology demonstration event featured nine innovative cybersecurity technologies developed at the Department of Energy and Department of Defense National Laboratories and have the potential to strengthen an organization’s cybersecurity posture. During the technology demonstration event, TTP attendees heard from the research teams that have produced these technologies and joined in discussions with technology investors from private industry on technology pilot opportunities and other areas of interest which drive cybersecurity research.

The TTP program works to identify emerging cybersecurity technologies that were developed with federal funding and help them transition into products capable of broad utilization. TTP is a result of the White House’s Federal Cybersecurity R&D Strategic Plan as well as the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI).
