The 2012 joint DHS Science & Technology Directorate and DOD Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (ASD) (R&E) Cyber Security Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Workshop focuses on maximizing technology transition opportunities for SBIR funded research. The workshop featured short presentations by small businesses describing their products and technologies, prime contractors identifying their programs and needs and government stakeholders describing their mission and requirements. Breakout sessions were held for one on-one discussions on partnering, tech transition, and business opportunities.
