DHS Headquarters EEO Office

The DHS Headquarters Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office strives to ensure a working environment for Headquarters employees that is free from any form of discrimination and supports them in fulfilling their mission to secure the homeland. This work aligns with the Department's goal to attain a model EEO program as outlined in Management Directive 715, and achieve organizational excellence. The Headquarters EEO Office receives complaints from any Headquarters employee who believes they have been subjected to unlawful discrimination. In some cases, complaints can be resolved through a process known as mediation.
