Design / Build and Construction Services IDIQ - National Multiple Award Construction Contracts (NMACC)

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery, National Multiple Award Construction Contracts (NMACC), provides design/build, performance-based construction, design-bid-build contracts for general constructions, renovations, marine construction, demolition, and historical restoration and alterations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in any of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Guam and U.S. Virgin Islands. This contract is centrally managed and administered by the Facilities Design and Construction Center (FDCC) with decentralized ordering to the Component organizations. National contract advertisement is unrestricted.

• Reduced procurement times for the best value selection of future construction contracts from a typical 7-8 months to less than four months, while still meeting all required FAR requirements;
• Pricing on new construction will remain competitive with market conditions and with the opportunity to negotiation additional discounts at the order level;
• The awardees will become familiar with USCG and DHS shore construction requirements and standardization goals;
• As a result of competition among these highly qualified firms, better pricing and improved project execution are expected; and

Period of Performance (POP):

One base year + 6 one-year option years (9/4/2009 - 9/5/2017) - Note: The government has the option to extend the terms of the contract by one year by written notice to the Contract IAW Clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Terms of the Contract (Mar 2000)
