The ideal candidate has training experience in the grant process; serves as a source of common information for issues requiring the participation of multiple parties in unstructured settings; and will have fact-finding and investigating techniques. Duties

This position is in FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate (GPD). This position serves as a senior analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the productivity and efficiency of managed work and also serve as advisor on the planning and evaluation of agency programs.

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying internal and external program, policies, procedures, practices and systems that may affect the agency in areas of organization, resource management and administration.
  • Advising management on the effectiveness of programs.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques and methodologies, such as regression analysis, mathematical programming, modeling, or automated tools.
  • Responsible for planning and conducting assignments, resolving difficult problems, assuring that technical objectives are met.
