Nov 16: Satellite loop shows the progress of the clouds associated with the front as they moved through South Florida overnight. Dry conditions and cooler air has already arrived across the region, with mostly sunny skies expected for the remainder of the day.

11/15/16 443pm - The latest regional radar imagery shows scattered showers across portions of South Florida this afternoon, and this will continue to be the trend heading into tonight, especially for areas south and east. Drier weather will begin working into the region tomorrow with gradually clearing skies.

A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for the entire east coast. Minor tidal flooding will again be possible around times of high tide this evening.

Nov 13: It will be another quiet and pleasant late fall day across South Florida to round out the weekend.

Tide heights will continue to increase across South Florida today as we will see the closest lunar approach of the year and full moon on Monday. This along with tides running above normal, will lead to coastal flooding in vulnerable areas along the east coast with high tides the next few days.

While not immediately likely, tidal levels are also running above normal alon...g the Gulf coast and will be monitored for possible coastal flooding as well.

Another dry and pleasant day across South Florida with light northeast-east winds and temperatures in the low 80s. There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the Atlantic beaches today. Low temperatures tonight return to the mid to upper 60s for much of the east coast metro areas and upper 50s in the interior.
