Course description

This course was developed by the U.S. Fire Administration's National Fire Academy, in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Emergency Management Institute, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG). This foundation-level course is a Web-based, self-study, interactive equivalent to NWCG I-100. This course integrates the National Incident Management System (NIMS) guidelines and meets the NIMS Baseline Training requirements using an all-hazards, all-agency approach. It is the first in a series of courses designed to meet all-hazards, all-agency NIMS Incident Command System requirements for operational personnel.
