2015 Urban Mobility Scorecard
Findings in the 2015 Urban Mobility Scorecard are drawn from traffic speed data collected by INRIX on 1.3 million miles of urban streets and highways, along with highway performance data from the Federal Highway Administration. The 2015 edition provides a comprehensive analysis of traffic conditions in 471 urban areas across the United States. The vast amount of information makes it possible to examine problems in greater detail than before, and to identify the effect of solutions at specific locations.

This year’s Urban Mobility Scorecard is available at no cost, just as the report has been since it was first published in 1984. In all likelihood, however, the 2015 Urban Mobility Scorecard will be the last free-of-charge edition, due to a lack of research funding. We understand how important this comprehensive mobility analysis is to hundreds of departments of transportation, transit agencies, local planning organizations, and other groups. As such, we will explore all possible ways to finance this work, and we invite interested parties to contact the report authors.
