Under the Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) program, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers executes environmental cleanup on eligible properties that were formerly owned by, leased to, or otherwise possessed by DoD. The FUDS program only applies to properties that DoD transferred from its control before October 17, 1986.
